Participants of Alliance LARP have the option of playing different characters. At events, they use the available time for attempting to overcome numerous obstacles that are put before them. Again, they utilize small packets for birdseed and cloths and represents several magical spell, which can cast at targets for having spells take an effect. Alliance LARP generally takes place in campsites or parks and lasts from a day to over 4 days. There are even cases, when the entire week gets dedicated towards this game. Obstacles in the game range from puzzles to grand battles and you need to say the right words at the right time.
Alliance LARP takes place in the land of Fortannis, a fantasy world from the medieval world. The setting of each chapter takes you to adventurous locations across the globe. Since the distances between two areas are quite far, you are given the magical mists for reaching your destination. This world has innumerous dangerous entities with Orcs, spirits and goblins being only a few of the opponents. Usually, these entities have their own schemes for gaining more wealth and power at the expense of important players. As a player, it is up to you for thwarting their plans, while the creatures continue to eke out a living for themselves in this turbulent world. Following February 2008, they have started holding a single national-level event of LARP game in PA, where invitation has been given to all players and chapters.
So, come out and play the LARP Alliance. You will face the difference and know why it holds an edge over other makers.

If you’ve already been a part of NJ LARP game, you must be knowing the importance of boffing in it. Even though there are some who feel that improving your boffing skill can be difficult, it is actually very easy. What you need to do is go the old-fashioned way: Practice, More Practice and keep Practicing till you succeed.
I was a part of LARP games before and even though I was standing outside the boffer circle, there was a lot to learn for me. The experience was unexpected. Even though my sprained back didn’t allow me to participate in the battle, I was committed towards bringing weapon. Without being a part of the team, I was able to witness the whole process of boffing perfectly in this campground.
Players were consistently fighting as a team with the amazing part being that they were not couple. Rather, all of them were pair continually gravitating in the same area for some reasons. In spite of the theme being ‘Every man/woman for themselves’, they were fighting the rest of the group regularly.
There were strategies on display, which was far beyond my imagination. People were pulling their punches off for people smaller than them and preying on others weaknesses. There were even others, who were working on inexperience for making themselves big and powerful.
Some tall men were constantly making efforts for not delivering headshots. They were lowering their arms for battling people, whose head were straight out from their arm. They felt comfortable in extending their arm and full reach with their swords for avoiding shots. They were sure to continue receiving those shots, as they had an idea that the headshots were fatal for the ones delivering them.
Some women made themselves small using bucker shield and sword. They made themselves hard to hit. However, they were ready for taking on the biggest warriors and yet be standing at the end. It was amazing to find them doing the ‘duck walk’ as perfectly as they did and come up with the desired results in the game.
These were some of the instances (along with many others), which made me realize that injuries cannot be fun when happening in a situation where you do not have the time to get over it. However, if you use the time for practicing boffer skills in spite of not having the boffers in your hand, you are bound to fare well in your next appearance in NJ LARP game.
