Do you feel at times you are losing your mind. How is your memory? Do you walk in a room and wonder why you are there? Read on.
I love to play Solitaire on the computer. There are three games I love to play. Regular solitaire, Spider and Free Cell. These are free in the game section of your computer. These games keep your brain pumping. The more you use your brain, hopefully, you will not lose it.
Another game on the computer that really takes brain power is the puzzle express. This is timed and it comes at you fast and if you want to make points and go on to the next level you have to be fast.
I have never liked to play board games until recently. I played Rummikub with tiles. I sat down at this game and I thought it would be a no brainer. Was I surprised. If you want to win there are lots of twists into how the tiles are played. The idea of the game is to go out fast. I really had to rev up my brain in order to play this game. I even won a game. Beginners luck.
Under the solitaire games Spider solitaire is by far the hardest. I have only won a few of this game over the past couple of years. But I went home and applied the Rummikub technique to playing this game and I won 4 times in one day. Brain power.
I find it very scary to live in this world where there are various forms of dementia. I do not know about you but losing my mind and not being able to take care of myself scares me to death. I really believe playing board games, working cross word puzzles, computer games, card games, reading and talking with people will help keep your brain healthy.

So your Xbox 360 broke down and you don’t know what to do about it. This has happened to me and countless others. In fact, recent market research has revealed that Xbox failure occurs to about 30% of consoles.
The primary cause of Xbox failure is related to a design flaw in the console. Essentially, the Xbox has an inadequate cooling system which results in damage to the components. This damage leads to glitches and eventually the so called “red ring of death”.
Once your Xbox breaks down you are left with very few options. When I called Microsoft I was told that the average wait time for a repair was 4-6 weeks and that the cost of the repair would be $140. That’s in addition to shipping and handling charges!
Fortunately, there are certain steps you can take to prevent your Xbox from crashing and to repair your console if it already has experienced the “red ring of death”.
1. The first thing you should try it to simply remove your Xbox 360 from where it is located into an open area. Because of its poor ventilation the console heats up a lot and sometimes a bit of fresh air is all that is needed.
2. A second step you can try is to lift the Xbox 360 power brick directly off the ground. The power brick can also become extremely hot and lead to crashing.
3. A third thing you can attempt is to create your own circulation by running a small fan into the systems vents. This will cool down the systems components and blow away any dust that may have also contributed to failure.

Video games are part of American culture and they do not seem to be going away any time soon. We cannot get enough of them. Highly popular titles such as Halo 3, Fable 2, Guitar Hero, and Fallout 3 have kept gamers gaming away. Gone are the days when games come out and no one even knows. Now, you see huge lines outside gaming stores on release day. It reminds of us the huge lines that Star Wars movies, Harry Potter books, and IPhones can only bring. As popularity of gaming increases, so do the prices for these games. With the economy the way it is now, gamers are looking for a better way to play their games. Presently, there exists three options to play video games: buy them, video game rental from brick and mortar stores, or video game rental via mail. What are the pros and cons of each method?
Buying video games
Pros: it’s yours to keep, play as often as you like, no late charges
Cons: very expensive, variety as much as finances allow
Video game rental from a local store
Pros: cheaper than owning, return games you don’t like get new ones, variety
Cons: late charges, not yours to own, limited selection
Video game rental from a mail service
Pros: comes to the door, no late charges, variety, send back anytime and get new ones, inexpensive, great selection, try before you buy
Cons: delivery time longer, not able to own
The method you decide to choose depends on your specific situation. One method or a combination of methods may be best.

For years, video games have invaded toy store shelves. Producing a variety of games that cover everything from racing to action to movies, game console manufacturers have tapped into a very lucrative industry. Although the popular phrase “too much of a good thing” does apply when it comes to video games, studies have shown that a considerable portion of games can be beneficial to the brain.
Video games help to develop and fine-tune a long list of cognitive milestones. Playing these games assists in the growth of thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as reasoning and memory capabilities. Video games can also spark a child’s interest in a particular subject, causing them to not only pick up information throughout the game, but to seek further details at a later date, such as games based on animals, nature, or real-life events.
Language remains one of the most important components of video games. During almost any particular game, the player must understand the instructions given and decide how to proceed; this is even true for young children’s games. Video games have the ability to teach kids various words in other languages, as well as encouraging them to recognize the alphabet and numbers, or begin to take the first steps towards reading. Of course, playing video games often helps to build the vocabulary of a child, regardless of age.
All too often, kids are left to play video games on their own, with parents, caregivers and other family members failing to realize the entertainment they provide. Renting a few video games makes for a great family night, as a way to get every member involved in a fun, crowd-pleasing event.
Although the cost of consoles may seem high, they will last a long time if taken care of properly. Most children treasure their game systems and keep them out of harm’s way, unlike many other toys and electronics they may own. Surprisingly, most kids are also eager to share their systems and games with others, realizing that many games are better suited to more than one player.

Blackjack is amongst the most popular card games and has been played by millions in online and live casino throughout the world. If you are looking forward to play the game but have no idea on where to start, there is no need to fret. It’s actually very easy to play the game.
Primary objective in Blackjack
In blackjack, you are competing against a dealer rather than other players. Your primary objective is obtaining a hand that is higher in value than what dealer has and at the same time, it is lower in aggregate than 21. Rules of Blackjack state that in case you break the barrier of 21, you have been ‘busted’ and lose the game.
Determining the value of your hand
For determining your blackjack hand’s value, you require adding your cards’ value as per the game rules. Kings, Queens and Jacks are worth 10 points each. Aces carry either 11 points or 1 point, depending upon the requirement of your hand. All numbered cards are worth their face value only. Blackjack’s best hand (referred as Blackjack) consists of 2 cards and has 21 as its value. This hand should consist of an Ace and any card, which is worth 10 points.
Basic Rules of Blackjack
Blackjack starts with the player placing his bet. In this game, you require placing the bet before cards have been dealt. Both you and dealer receive 2 cards each. However, both your card will be facing up, whereas one of the dealers card will be facing down on the table. You require making decision (whether hit or stand) on the basis of his exposed card. If you hit, dealer deals an additional card for increasing your hand’s value. After getting satisfied with your hand’s value, you have the option to stand. This is followed by dealer turning his faced-down card. If it’s below your cards value, dealer will have to hit till either of the two situations arrive: 1) He has beaten your score or 2) He has gone beyond 21 to lose the game.
Similar to live dealer roulette, rules of blackjack are pretty simple. However once you have completely understood the basic Blackjack strategy, you should also learn its complicated rules. They will help you in mastering the game within a very short time.

On virtually every server, primals are the primary method of farming. When people level from 60 to 70, they save their primals to sell for their flying mounts. When people need that few thousand gold for their epic crafted items or epic mount, primal farming they go.
If you are like many World of Warcraft players, you don’t necessarily know of the best spots to farm primals. Some think they know, but don’t realize where the hot spots are at. Here is a quick summary of where and how to farm each primal the quickest.
Primal Earth – Hands down, these are most easily farmed from mining. However, if you are not a miner and are in need of these, the second best place would be the earth elementals on the southwestern region of Nagrand. They are the Shattered Rumblers and are level 66-67. They have nearly a 20% chance at dropping Motes of Earth and you should be able to get 3 to 4 Primal Earths per hour.
Primal Fire – There are a few hot spots for these, but in my opinion, one area is incredibly more profitable than the others. With the release of patch 2.4, there are now a whole army of fire elementals in the Throne of Kil’jaeden in the northeastern region of Hellfire Peninsula. Not only are there lots of fire elementals present here, but they are also on a forced respawn. This means that if there are too low of a number of these mobs up, the game will force spawn more in order to keep a minimum amount always up. If you find yourself farming on non-peak times, it is easy to farm 4 or 5 Primal Fires per hour.
Primal Water – There are two good spots to farm these. The first is Silmyr Lake in northern Terokkar Forest. In the lake, there are Shimmerscale Eels that tend to have a decent drop rate of Motes of Water. The only negatives are that you have to kill them underwater and sometimes there is lots of competition. The second spot to farm Primal Waters is fishing in Nagrand. If you can reach at least 380 fishing skill and have a flying mount, then you can fly around the waterways of Nagrand, searching for ‘Pure Water’ nodes. Fishing in these will grant Motes of Water. Both methods, depending on competition, will result in about 3 to 4 primals per hour.
Primal Air – There is really only one place to farm these and sadly it results in lots of competition. However, they are on a forced respawn! But they are spread out over a large portion of southeastern Shadowmoon Valley, thus making the forced respawn only barely beneficial. I tend to only average 2 to 3 Primal Airs per hour. Hopefully, you do not need many of these!
Primal Mana – Once again, just like the Primal Fires, you can thank 2.4 if you find yourself needing to farm these. Simply accept the quest “Maintaining the Sunwell Portal” from Exarch Nasuun in Shattrath City and then head to Bash’ir Landing in northern Blades Edge Mountain. Kill the ethereal until you get a Bash’ir Phasing Device. Use this and you will be able to see Phase Wyrms. Farm these for very quick Primal Manas. You should be able to get over 5 Primal Manas per hour.
Primal Shadow – These are the worst to farm. If you find yourself needing to farm these, it is easier to farm a different primal, sell them on the auction house, and buy Primal Shadows. But if you insist on farming, head to the Spirit Fields in southwestern Nagrand. Around the enormous crystal mountain are voids. Simply kill them for the Motes of Shadow. You will be lucky to get 2 Primal Shadows per hour. I have killed over 30 of them for not a single mote before.
Primal Life – These are fairly easy to obtain. If you have a character who can herb, simply fly around farming herbs and you are bound to get a decent amount of Primal Lifes. If you do not have an herbalist, then head to Zangarmarsh. The best mobs for these are any bogs in the zone. Some can be found in the northeast of the zone in the Dead Mire, others can be found in Funggor Cavern in the south region of the zone, and more can be found in the southwestern region of the zone by Quagg Ridge. All of these seem to have equal droprates. You should be able to obtain 4 or 5 Primal Lifes per hour. Read the rest of this entry »

1. They never run out of mana. Being a warlock myself, this is my favorite feature of the class. Whether I solo, group, or raid; I never have to sit down after a fight and drink. Between life tap and dark pact, warlocks pretty much have infinite mana.
2. Warlocks are a pet class. To some people, this is a perk. It gets lonely always being by yourself if you’re a solo player; so having a pet is a nice friend! They are also useful to tank, DPS, or help with crowd control if you’re interested in more than companionship.
3. They are one of the best classes for solo play. Warlocks are by far one of the best classes for solo play. This includes leveling up, beating elite quests, and even having fun in old world content. I have done everything from solo’ing 3-person and 5-person level 70 quests, clearing 10-man instances in old-world content, and being able to pull over 15 equal level mobs at the same time, killing them all.
4. They are also one of the best farming classes. Because of their high DPS, the use of a pet, and having infinite mana; warlocks pretty much can kill mobs nonstop. This obviously makes farming very easy, as there is little to no downtime.
5. They have three different, but useful, specializations. With most classes, there are only one or two viable specs to DPS as. With warlocks, all three trees are useful in the different aspects of the game. Affliction is useful for steady damage over long periods of time, Destruction is useful for high amounts of burst damage, and Demonology is useful for having a pet or the warlock themselves tank.
6. They bring a decent amount of utility to groups and raids. Warlocks are usually sought for in both groups and raids because they can crowd control with fear and their pet’s seduction, they are the only class to have soul stones, and they can summon free health potions for everyone in their group. They can also summon anyone in the game as long as there are two other players to help. They also can cast debuffs on mobs which will help increase the other classes’ usefulness.
7. They bring a high amount of DPS to groups and raids. On my warlock, I almost always top the damage meter in my groups and on my raids. I have done so with different specs as well. I have topped the meter as both Affliction and Destruction. This means that if played well, warlocks can be a group or raid’s best asset.
8. Warlocks are above-average PvP’ers. Once you obtain a decent amount of PvP gear, warlocks are very fun to PvP with. They can easily kill caster DPS classes and healers. Their only disadvantage is against melees, since warlocks have terrible mitigation against melees and melees have counters to almost every warlock’s escape maneuvers. However, I can almost always be on the top of the killing blow list with just a few deaths at the end of any battleground.
9. They can also be useful tanks for certain encounters. There have been numerous situations where I have tanked certain events. With the Demonology spec, warlocks can have a 20% damage reduction and as many hit points as a normal tank. The combination of the two makes them favorites when tanking mobs that deal elemental damage, as their weak armor is not an issue. If you enjoy playing different aspects of WoW, this can be a nice bonus.

You know, nobody likes a cheater. But when it comes to discovering video game cheats, “cheating” isn’t what you’re doing. I prefer to think of it as “discovering shortcuts, tips and tricks,” or video game hints.
Video games have gotten so complex, since the days of Rubix Cubix and Donkey Kong, that the game authors have purposely thrown in some back doors and other shortcuts to aid the exhausted players. However there is a problem, most of these back doors are so well hidden that these same authors have to leak the game cheats or no one would ever find them on their own.
Video game cheat sheets, codes and game hints are sort of useless if you don’t own any video games. Well I’m sure if you have games you probably beat them fast with the aid of cheat sheets, but with online video game stores you can beat more and pay less!
Any web site worth visiting will not only have video game reviews and cheats for you to peruse, but they will also have game walkthroughs. Video game walkthroughs differ from cheats in that they actually “walk you through” the process of achieving some goal. Video game cheats, on the other hand, are often cryptic one or two liners like “Enter xx892 in the password field.”
There are different types of video game reviews. Each have their good and bad points. The other most common writer of video game reviews are the actual end users. While an end user will generally have spent a great deal more time actually playing the various video games on the most popular video game systems, you’ll often find that they are men and women of little words. It’s not unusual to see a review that says “Wow! Kick A** man. I love it!” Now, that’s probably actually saying quite a bit about a particular video game, but — your opinion may vary.
You should remember that you don’t want to invest in a video game until at least a couple of people have taken the time to write a review of the game. Of course, if everyone took this advice then there wouldn’t be any video game review on any game web sites, because everyone would be waiting for someone else to write the review.
Right up there with video game reviews are video game previews. A video game preview is a lot like a movie trailer. They bundle all of the really thrilling parts together and give you a quick peek hoping that you’ll believe that the entire video game is actually as cool as the 90 seconds of video game previews that they let you get a view at.
