If you’re an avid gamer like me you have probably thought at one time that it would be nice if there was a way to protect your gaming disks from been lost or damaged. I know I have spent a lot of money over the years replacing lost or damaged gaming disks. Most recently, my young son got in to my collection and proceeded to throw those fragile disks across the room - It goes without saying that many of them were damaged and rendered unplayable.
After this expensive incident I started to seek out a way to protect my disks by been able to copy then and just play the backup versions while putting the original disks out of harms way. I came across a product called Game Copy pro that stated it would make perfect backup copies of my gaming disks that I could then use. at first I was skeptical regarding this product, it seemed a little too good to be true that for 30 bucks I could copy any of my gaming disks, after all I had spent several hundred dollars over the years buying replacement copies of games that had been destroyed or damaged.
I purchased the product and installed it. This was all very easy to do. The Game Copy pro software I found to be quite easy to use. In the members area of the Game Copy Pro website they have video tutorials also that explain how the software works and the steps it takes to copy a game disk.
Copying a disk was again, quite easy to do. It took a few minutes to copy the large amounts of data that is on a game disk but you can just let Game Copy Pro do its thing while you work on other things.
I have both an Xbox and PlayStation systems and have tried making copies of games for both systems and Game Copy Pro made the copies without issue. Most new games come with some form of copy protection on them but Game Copy Pro has sophisticated algorithms that can bypass almost all of them and the developers of the program do a good job it seems of releasing new updates so that the program stays one step ahead of the latest copy protection issues.
I was surprised after joining that the program comes with a number of bonus features. Some of these bonuses include the ability to download games for free from a massive database of over three million titles! They also have an extensive collection of movies and tv shows you can download also. Plus, there is a huge library of game cheats that you can search through.
A slight disappointment was the technical support offered by the Game Copy Pro team. I had an error that kept occurring when trying to copy one of my disks and emailed support about it. It took them several days to reply offering a solution to my problem., I was a little disappointed in the response time but they did help fix my problems.

So your Xbox 360 broke down and you don’t know what to do about it. This has happened to me and countless others. In fact, recent market research has revealed that Xbox failure occurs to about 30% of consoles.
The primary cause of Xbox failure is related to a design flaw in the console. Essentially, the Xbox has an inadequate cooling system which results in damage to the components. This damage leads to glitches and eventually the so called “red ring of death”.
Once your Xbox breaks down you are left with very few options. When I called Microsoft I was told that the average wait time for a repair was 4-6 weeks and that the cost of the repair would be $140. That’s in addition to shipping and handling charges!
Fortunately, there are certain steps you can take to prevent your Xbox from crashing and to repair your console if it already has experienced the “red ring of death”.
1. The first thing you should try it to simply remove your Xbox 360 from where it is located into an open area. Because of its poor ventilation the console heats up a lot and sometimes a bit of fresh air is all that is needed.
2. A second step you can try is to lift the Xbox 360 power brick directly off the ground. The power brick can also become extremely hot and lead to crashing.
3. A third thing you can attempt is to create your own circulation by running a small fan into the systems vents. This will cool down the systems components and blow away any dust that may have also contributed to failure.

3. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
This game is on this list for a very good reason, the graphics. Oh my gosh the graphics in this game are unbelievable. It is like you are playing for real and you are actually in the game watching and listening to the trees swaying in the wind. It is a little bit harder than the last Elder Scrolls game and is actually hard to compare to it. So be prepared to be blown away when you play this game.
4. Braid
Are you ready to go save your princess? In this game you are Tim on a quest to find your princess and of course rescue her from certain doom. This is a puzzle game that you will have plenty of fun with as you progress through the many worlds and levels that there are.

Fixing your Xbox 360 in under an hour is completely possible. I can be frustrating when you are in the middle of a heated Gear of War game when you get the three red rings of death.
Don’t panic as this is a fixable error. Once you know the secret to repairing it you can be back up and playing Gears within the hour.
One trick to getting your Xbox 360 back up and running is the towel trick. This is hit or miss as sometimes it works and sometimes it does not. Basically you get a nice heavy towel and wrap your Xbox up in it. Now by wrapping your system up in this towel and turning it on it should overheat. Once it overheats it will reset itself and you should be able to play again. If, the Xbox does not reset itself from using the towel trick than you a couple other things.
You can look in the phone book for local shops that will fix your Xbox but that could cost anywhere from $100-$200 dollars just to get it back up and running. Another option is to send it into Microsoft and if it is still under warranty they will fix it for free and all you have to pay is the shipping and handling.
The final option to get your Xbox up and running quickly is to use one of the online Xbox repair guides. These can be found on different sites and can cost between $20-$50 dollars. Most all guides come with a video on how to fix the Xbox yourself. In a pinch this might be the best option to get up and running quickly.

EA’s latest installment in the Burnout series, Burnout Revenge, comes to the Xbox 360. While it has been redone for the next generation platform with more game play, different boards, more routes and incredibly crisp graphics it doesn’t forge any new ground from the Xbox version. I remember the first time we put the game in because our minds were really blown by the killer graphics that this game has. The cars in general maintain the same arcade like feel that the other Burnout games have had without a real noticeable difference to handling of the cars just the speed of the game play. I had played all the way through this game on the Xbox and graphics aside the most noticeable difference between the two versions was the difficulty level. The Xbox version is considerably harder than the Xbox 360 version. It can be frustrating if you are trying to bust the achievements.
The rough thing about most racing games is the fact that the achievements are geared to a lot of game play. The higher ones tend to be achievable only after you’ve really mastered the game. That is certainly the case with Burnout Revenge. It may even be tougher than most when you consider you have to perfect all of the events at each level. This could take quite a few real time hours. This can be a good or bad thing depending on what you’re looking for. If you are looking for easy achievements you will not find them in this game.
